Атлантида и Му
В поисках материалов по атлантологии наткнулась на источник аниме "Разефон" - труды оккультиста Дж.Чёрчварда и его предшественника Огюста Ле Плонжона. Плонжон выдумал по примеру Атлантиды затонувший материк Му, с которого произошли жрецы майя (которых он обозвал словом наакаль). Жрецы эти понесли свет цивилизации, пирамиды и иероглифы в Египет и далее. При этом был, судя по всему, неплохим полевым археологом, копал на Юкатане и пытался переводить майянские кодексы. Напереводил умопомрачительно, конечно, - из календарной записи сделать отчет о катастрофе надо было умудриться.
Из науки Ле Плонжон выпал, когда отказалс япризнать отсутсвие родства междя древнеегипетсикм и языком майя. Продолжал развивать свою концепцию и окончательно ударился в оккультный бред о высоченных древних цивилизациях - например, писал, что у майя были современные технологии, в том числе электричество и телеграф.

А вот и мотив королевы атлантов (в данном случае - Му):
"It was among the Mayas," he wrote, "that the youngest of brothers should marry the eldest of sisters, to insure the legitimate and divine descent of the royal family." He did not divulge whether this information came from some ethnographic or archaeological evidence he had, but felt it was useful in under-standing the family of Queen Moo.
The story opened during the "ancient epoch," discussing the royal family in residence at Uxmal: the sovereign, Canchi; his wife Zoc; and their children: eldest son, Prince Cay (later to become high priest); Prince Aac; the youngest son, Prince Coh; Princess Moo; and Princess Nicte.
Augustus described how Princess Moo became queen of Chichen Itza after the death of her father, and how she married the great warrior Prince Coh, whom she loved. Uxmal had been inherited by Prince Aac, but he coveted Queen Moo and was jealous of the fame of Coh. He conspired to kill his brother Coh, capture and marry Queen Moo, and unite the divided empire under himself. He murdered Coh, and civil war broke out, which Aac offered to stop if Queen Moo would accept his romantic advances. She rejected him, and his armies finally defeated her followers. Sometime after her capture, with the help of friends she escaped, but her brother Cay was put to death.
Ни один атлантолог без королевы не обошелся. На крайний случай - без принцессы.
Ой, нет! Автор феерического трактата-дилогии "Атлантида и царство гигантов" и "Религия гигантов и цивилизация насекомых" Дени Сора обошелся.
Кстати, его трактаты издали в серии "Атлантида" с предисловием нашего отечественного оккультного атлантолога Воронина, которое называется "Цвилизация насекомых и гигантов в эпоху ранней Атлантиды"...

Только вот Queen Moo меня дергает. С чего мужик ее Mu не обозвал, хотя бы? А то ассоциации... не для легендарной красавицы и царицы, как-то :).
